After graduating from Howard University College of Dentistry with his DDS in 1987, Dr. Holiman worked as a missionary dentist in Hong Kong for five years. He then moved back to the United States and purchased this dental practice in 1992. Dr. Holiman has served Boston and southern New Hampshire area patients with general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry for over 15 years at this same location.
Lifelong learning is part of Dr. Holiman's professional and personal philosophy, so he continues his dental training with annual coursework and seminars. Recently, his training has included CEREC CAD/CAM technology for one-visit crowns, as well as Frank Spear’s classes on occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, and smile design. Dr. Holiman also holds membership in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Holiman has participated in Donated Dental Services for seven years. Donated Dental Services (DDS) is a federal program that coordinates dental care needs for disabled, elderly or medically-compromised individuals who cannot afford necessary treatment nor get public aid. In 2007, Dr. Holiman took a mission trip to Guatemala where he performed extensive dental procedures on indigent natives. Dr. Holiman is dedicated to providing quality dental care for those in need and sponsoring events in the community that supports his practice.
When he is not creating smiles, Dr. Holiman enjoys photography, motorcycling, and spending time with his wife and their four children. Mrs. Holiman, a nurse, works in oncology at Mass General/North Shore Center of Outpatient Care. Dr. and Mrs. Holiman's eldest daughter, Stefanie, lives in Manhattan, Kansas where she attends Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine. Jereme, their son, is completing his Master of International Business degree at Hult International Business School in San Francisco. Their second daughter, Jennifer, is a Registered Nurse and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Loma Linda University in California. The youngest, Shaina, is currently a dental student at University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Timothy M. Wieg grew up in California in the foothills near Yosemite National Park. Dr. Wieg began his career in dentistry in high school as a dental assistant in the mission field working alongside his dentist father, Dr. Thomas G. Wieg. He also assisted in his father's practice in the family's hometown of Mariposa, CA. Four years after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pacific Union College in Northern California, Dr. Wieg completed his DDS degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California (class of 2010). Prior to graduation, Dr. Wieg was honored with the Gold Award for achieving high scores on Part I and Part II Boards and the Clinic Award for displaying exceptional clinic performance in his clinical group. Immediately after graduation, Dr. Wieg elected to enter a 1-year General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Affairs Hospital in Loma Linda, CA.
After thousands of hours of specialist-mentored training, continuing education, and service to our nation's Veterans, Dr. Wieg is pleased to join the team at Plaistow Dental. Dr. Wieg imparts expertise in the latest dental techniques and technologies, including cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, minimally invasive dentistry, and dental implants. As life-long learning continues to be part of Dr. Wieg's professional philosophy, he holds an active membership in the California and American Dental Association.
Dr. Wieg is married to Jennifer Holiman RN, BSN (yes, she's Dr. Holiman's daughter!). Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wieg has a variety of interests and hobbies. His exercise activities include weight training and running. When outdoors Dr. Wieg loves to mountaineer, camp, ski, and rock climb. At home he relaxes by spending time with his wife, cooking regularly, and entertaining guests with gourmet food and wine. Art and music are also a big part of Dr. Wieg's life. He enjoys sculpture and ceramics, as well as playing the violin, piano, and guitar. Exploring new places is an endless fascination for Dr. Wieg; during his vacations he travels with his wife as much as possible. His travels often coincide with humanitarian service. Dr. Wieg has served short-term humanitarian endeavors (dental and non-dental) in Mexico, Nicaragua, Honduras, The Federated States of Micronesia, on an Indian Reservation in Arizona, and in downtown Los Angeles, California.
As Dr. Holiman's dental assistant, Terri works chairside with Dr. Holiman and is able to put anxious patients at ease. She is able to explain and appoint treatment. She has worked in dentistry since 1994 and has been a welcomed part of our team since 2007. Terri particularly takes pride in the level of care we provide our patients. She enjoys counseling and educating patients to empower them to care for their oral health as an adjunct to lifelong overall health. Terri has a reputation for providing compassionate care to all her patients.
Away from the office, Terri loves to spend time with friends and family by the water. She also takes time for some of her favorite outdoor activities: snowmobiling, swimming, and boating.
As a dental assistant with a bachelor’s degree in biology and certification in radiology, Amy works chairside with Dr. Holiman and is able to put anxious patients at ease. She is able to explain and appoint treatment. She has been with us since 2003. Amy has a special affinity for easing anxiety in patients who have an aversion to dentistry. She also has a reputation for being professional and courteous when interacting with her patients, and for always having a smile on her face. She also has a passion for seeing the amazing transformation, physically and emotionally, that occurs when one of our patients looks in the mirror and falls in love with the reflection!
Married to her high school sweetheart, Amy is a mom to Maison, her precious son.
Bethany’s professional passion is twofold - she loves people, and she loves to see them smile. As our dental hygienist, Bethany cleans and polishes teeth, teaches proper oral homecare practices, and maintains our patients' healthy gums. Since 2006, she has been vital to creating a comfortable, family atmosphere that she believes our patients appreciate and deserve. Bethany earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an associate’s degree in dental hygiene, and she holds membership in the American Dental Hygiene Association and New Hampshire Dental Hygiene Association.
In her free time, Bethany enjoys running, knitting, and reading. She just recently ran a half marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is currently training for a full marathon.
Jan's experience in dentistry goes back 41 years, so she has seen the amazing transformations modern dental science and technology have brought to the dental hygiene field. She also holds membership in the American Dental Hygiene Association and New Hampshire Dental Hygiene Association. Jan has an associate's degree in dental hygiene, and she’s been an important member of our team since 1995. During this time, Jan forged lasting relationships with many of our patients. Working with our amazing patients to enhance their lives with optimal oral health and beauty are Jan’s favorite aspects of her job.
Jan’s family includes her husband, TJ, a daughter, two sons, two grandsons, and a granddaughter. She loves them all dearly and enjoys spending time with them.
Michele has been in the dental field since 2006, and she joined our team in 2008, working in the front office as scheduling coordinator. Her communication degree, natural caring, and professional attitude make her a great fit for our team and our patients. Michele appreciates the kind, compassionate care we provide our patients and the inviting atmosphere our team fosters in the office.
As a mother of three sons, Michele stays busy at home! When she can find time, she likes to dance, sing, and go to dinner with family and friends.
Cheryl studied business in college and worked in the book keeping department at a bank for 10 years before joining our team in 2000. She currently works in the front office as the financial coordinator. Cheryl's honesty, great sense of humor, and ability to maintain good rapport with our patients makes her a great fit for our practice.
Cheryl's family includes her husband John, son and daughter, and four grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending a lot of time with her grandchildren.
